Looking to give your home or garden decor an upgrade? Allow American Plant Exchange to present you with the beautiful Spider Plant. Producing a rosette of solid green or white variegated long, thin, arched leaves, they get their name because of their spider-like plantlets, or spiderettes, which dangle down from the mother plants like spiders on a web. Also known as Ribbon Plants, they prefer medium to bright indirect sunlight, high humidity, and temperatures between 55–80° F. They can grow up to 1-2′ tall and 2-3′ wide. Keeping live plants around your home has various health benefits, including purified air for breathing and improved mood levels. The plant is safe for both humans and pets.
Shipping and handling can be very tough on live plants, so please be sure to open and check your plant right away. Our team waters each plant before it is shipped and wrapped, so it may not need to be watered right away. We strongly recommend allowing 3-4 weeks for your plant to acclimate to its new home before re-potting it.
